| The first Purdue company, The Purdue Frederick Company was acquired in 1952 and since then has grown tremendously with a staff of over 2000 and sales of over USD 900 million managed from four major sites: Stamford, Connecticut (headquarters); Ardsley, New York (research and development); Cranbury, New Jersey (discovery research); Totowa, New Jersey (manufacturing); Wilson, North Carolina. In 1956 Purdue Frederick of Canada was established, and in the summer of 1991, a new factory, research facilities and administrative corporate headquarters were opened in Pickering near Toronto. In 1966 Napp Pharmaceutical Ltd. was established in the Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge, UK. These striking buildings combine research, administration, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and distribution facilities amid attractively landscaped gardens in a parkland setting. In 1967 Mundipharma GmbH was established in Limburg, Germany. Over the years our company in Germany has grown to a staff of over 500 employees who work in research, administration, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Further independent associated companies have been established in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. | |
