In 1957 Mundipharma AG, Basel, Switzerland, was the first Mundipharma company to be established in Europe. Since then, Mundipharma AG has considerably extended its scope of activities and together with Mundipharma Laboratories GmbH and Mundipharma Medical GmbH functions today as an international trading and licensing company for the Purdue/Mundipharma/Napp independent associated companies. It has a worldwide licensing and distribution network with sales of licensed products in over 100 countries. These include successful third party collaborations and licensing in the Middle and Far East as well as in Africa and Australia.

The Mundipharma House in Basel is also the home of the Mundipharma Medical Company, Basel, Switzerland. With a staff of over 30 people they successfully market the Mundipharma products in Switzerland.
